MVP for a Health Data Tracking App

Two seasoned doctors, with over 40 years of combined experience, envisioned a mobile application to enhance communication between patients and healthcare providers. Initially, one of the founders built a basic version of the app that allowed patients to submit their medical information via smart, mobile-friendly questionnaires. With a growing vision, they sought to scale the platform to a wider audience.

To bring their idea to life, the founders partnered with React Coders to enhance the existing platform. A dedicated team of five—comprising a project manager, two Python developers, a frontend developer, and a QA specialist—began work in January 2018.

Once the project requirements were finalized, the team built a custom CSS component library and proceeded to implement a series of new features to strengthen the app’s capabilities.

• Dynamic questionnaires, allowing new fields to be added and updated through modals.
   
• Automated PDF generation, converting patient answers into a single downloadable file that can be shared with selected health departments.
   
• Digital signature support, enabling patients to sign forms directly within the app.
   
• Comprehensive translation system, covering both database-stored values and dynamic UI templates/messages.

After just seven months, React Coders successfully delivered a fully functional MVP. The client was able to begin investor outreach and validate the product through pilot testing.

• The MVP underwent successful pilots with four major healthcare institutions, receiving positive feedback from medical professionals.
   
• A market test with 20 niche B2C users returned an impressive Net Promoter Score of 50.6%, indicating strong product-market fit.
